Vintage Italy Religious Triptych - Madonna - F.Lippi - Gilt Wood - Christmas

Description

This is a lovely vintage (possibly antique?) wooden triptych made in Florence, Italy. It measures 7 inches high by 5.5 inches wide when closed and 11 inches wide when fully opened.  All measurements are approximate.  The original label is on the back with information about the artist whose work is replicated on the piece.  Unfortunately I cannot translate from the Italian, but I do know it refers to the artist Filipino Lippi who created magnificent artwork during the early Renaissance.  This icon is in very good vintage condition. There is some wearing of the gilt finish in spots.
