Proudly Presents: Circa 1975 RARE Topps BOZO Display Box from the early part of the Silver Era of Novelty Candy (1969-1999). Super cool Wizard and Caldron Mascot! This box has numerous wear and some creases, I reinforced some the the seams on the inside (not visible from outside). Several inside flaps are patched with extra cardstock pieces from period boxes. I would rate this box 7 out of 10. The box came to me flat, never perforated or made. and I had to take some vintage copper stables from another Topps candy display to assemble the box in an upright position. -I personally store my boxes flat to save space but I always save the staples in case I want to display them or photograph them but otherwise they are flattened. I can ship this to you in box form or flattened, just let me know. It’s not hard to remove and retighten the copper carton staples. If you buy more than one I would certainly recommend shipping multiple boxes flat, and just re-ensemble them when you get it home.
Condition is pretty amazing considering it’s age! 45 Years Old. If you were a box would you look this good after almost 5 decades?! It’s been in collectors hands the entire time. For a display box made from the cardstock of an actual baseball card-like cardstock it’s amazingly strong, and tight, some of the folded seams show splitting, were the glossy top ply layer, the layer with the graphics, has split open and you can see the bottom ply layer of the cardstock, and that’s why I put some carton tape on the underside to prevent the seam(s) from splitting. This box is being sold as-is, I took many high resolution photographs of the box and many different angles and have described it to the best of my ability. No returns.
*Your vintage display will be shipped First Class, since it only weighs about 6 ounces, though the shipping box will add some more ounces on top of that. If you order more we might have to ship them priority. I will ship with Signature Confirmation, so you will need to be home when it’s delivered or take your ID to the Post Office when you pick it up late.
