This is a rare May 1976 "Performing Arts" program from the out-of-town tryout and WORLD PREMIERE engagement of the JOSEPH STEIN and STEPHEN SCHWARTZ musical flop "THE BAKER'S WIFE" at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, California. (The production opened May 11th, 1976 in Los Angeles and closed November 13th, 1976 in Washington, D.C. cancelling the scheduled November 21st, 1976 opening in New York City.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light surface rubbing to the cover, this rare program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
