    Portrait of St. Antipas, pictured in half size.
    In his left hand he holds a gospel book, with his right hand he makes a gesture of blessing.
    Antipas lived in the first century and was an apostle of John the Evangelist. He was bishop of the church in Pergamum.
    He was martyred in the year 68.
