    Description

    From Revell of the USA comes kit # 1832:130. It is the iconic Revell Mercury/Redstone rocket. This was the rocket that sent the USA's first Astronaut, Alan Shepard into Space. This fine Revell kit was issued in 1961 to commemorate this achievement. Kit is nicely detailed with the Redstone booster, Mercury capsule, escape tower and retro rockets, launching pad, testing unit and a 3 man crew. It also included a booklet and wall map depicting the Shepard mission. Box is the original "Newsprint" issue and is in great shape with some minor wear and slight paper loss on top left corner. Decals, instructions and historical booklet all there. Parts still in factory sealed bag. Scale is 1/110. VERY nice kit. Buyer to pay flat shipping cost based on location.
