    Description

PIC Microcontroller Programmer: ICSP & DIP socket, parallel port
    PIC-PG3
This programmer is based on D. Tait's parallel-port design. To operate, it needs an external power supply of 12-15V AC or 10-18V DC. It supports all 8/18/28/40-pin PIC microcontrollers that allow serial programming.
    The PIC-PG3 has an
    ICSP connector
and cable for in-circuit programming, compatible with many PIC development boards.
The programmer is intended to be used with the free
    ICPROG
programming software, and supports all devices that are supported by that software.
    Dimensions: 75 x 58 mm (3 x 2.3") + 30 cm (12") ICSP cable
    By soldering an optional
    ZIF socket
in place of the 40-pin DIP socket, you'll be able to insert and remove devices easily for testing and programming purposes.
