    This beautiful California Pomo Indian basket just came out of a collection here in Arizona.  It is in good condition.  It measures 4 1/2" across by 1 3/8" high.  This basket was probably a ceremonial basket at one time.  If you look closely it looks like there are some remnants of woodpecker feathers on the basket.  This is a nice example of early Pomo.
