    Description

    There are lots of Pima baskets out there, but this one is special.  Human figures on these baskets are uncommon. This one is especially charming with 3 couples holding hands and waving, plus an avian figure on one side.  Pima figural baskets of any kind are in demand and very difficult to find on the open market. This one is hard to part with so I won't be entertaining low-ball offers.
    This basket is in excellent physical condition with a couple rim stitches missing.  Also, there is a stain on the inside that seeped though to the base that is readily visible in the photos.  The stain does not affect the most visible display areas of the basket.  See close-ups.  It is a nice size for display at  10.25" x 4.75", 5.5" wide at the base.
    We've included photographs from every angle.  We encourage using the close-up feature for a thorough examination as all basketry has minor imperfections, don't want you to be disappointed & returns waste time and money.  This piece would make a great gift or a nice acquisition for the most discriminating collector.  Take a look.  The pictures speak for themselves.
