Description
MIAC Advanced Expansion ModuleMI3486
This add-on module allows you to expand an
MI0235 MIAC
automation controller with a number of digital and anlog functions: The unit has a number of I/O lines including 12-bit ADC inputs for measuring analog signals, PWM outputs for motor control, TTL-level serial buses for interfaces to other serial systems at the chip level, and 12-bit DAC outputs. The unit also features an RTC and two sensor interfaces.
The MIAC Advanced Expansion module provides a wide range of serial communication and analog signal processing features. In addition to generic I/O, two PWM output, and five ADC inputs, this module also provides TTL-level interfaces for I2C, SPI and UART serial communication protocols.
This module uniquely provides two front-panel sockets for the connection of external lab sensors and two DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) outputs on terminals T16 and T17, together with an internal battery-backed Real-Time Clock.
