This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the three-day, Post-Broadway engagement of the GLADYS UNGERcomedy "THE GOLDFISH" at the Court Square Theatre in Springfield, Massachusetts beginning January 15th, 1923. (The production opened April 17th, 1922 at Maxine Elliott's Theatre in New York City and ran for 70 performances before going on the road.) ..... This single page, two-sided handbill measures 5 3/4" X 8 7/8" inches and includes production credits, a photo of the star and performance dates on the front one additional production photo and excerpts from a number of reviews on the backside ..... CONDITION: With the exception of moderate creasing and minor edge wear, this rare flyer is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
