    Description

i.MX233 Single Board Linux Computer, USB Host, Video Out, SD
    iMX233-OLinuXino-MICRO
This OLinuXino development board enables code development of applications running on the i.MX233 microcontroller manufactured by Freescale Semiconductor.
iMX233-OLinuXino-MICRO is suitable for embedded programming enthusiasts, Linux hobbyists, gadget fans, and also professionals, since its low cost makes it very good solution for application-orientated embedded systems. It allows embedded software development without fully needing to understand the hardware side. This board is suitable for breadboard use via 60 GPIO pin pads.
    There is no voltage regulator.
The board must be supplied with regulated 5V power via its barrel connector. Unfortunately, our basic wall-mount universal power supplies do not work with this board (the 4.5V setting is not enough and the 6V setting kills the board). The easiest, no-solder solution is to get the
    MIKROE-192
    voltage regulator/rectifier and connect the
    PWR-CABLE
adapter to its 5V output screw terminals. Then you can use the 9V or 12V setting on the
    WA-VAR-US
    or
    WA-UNI
power supply plugged into the MIKROE-192.
Note that you will need to download and write a Linux image. The user manual steps you through that task (or even building an image from source if you're so inclined).
    i.MX233 ARM9 Board Features
    iMX233 ARM926J processor at 454 MHz
    64 MB RAM
SD-card connector for booting the Linux image (card not included)
Composite PAL/NTSC video output (RCA jack)
USB High-Speed Host (does not communicate with Low-Speed devices like many mice and keyboards; using a USB hub is recommended)
    Three Buttons
2×30-pin GPIO for connection to other hardware
    PCB dimensions: 3.00 × 1.70 inches (76.2 × 43.2 mm)
    Nominal dimensions: 3.40 × 1.70 inches (86.4 × 43.2 mm)
