Hand painted orthodox icon of St. Tryphon

Description

I introduce you the icon of St. Tryphon with measurements: 32 x 20 x 2 cm (12.6 x 7.9 x 0.8 in).
The icon is painted on wooden board covered with chalk primer. An old tempera technique is used. It is covered with golden foil and varnished. The technology for making this icon is used by the iconographers for more than 14 centuries which guarantees its longevity.
