Up for your consideration is
an exact copy of the strict Byzantine style (Cretan School-Theophanis) Icon created by Father Pefkis qualified hagriographer of the Athoniados Ecclesiastical Academy in Agion Oros at Athos.
This icon was done with the traditional colors and gold sheets on aged wood.
The back has the wax seal. Apparently, this Icon was personalized to the original owner.
Approximate Measurements:
The approximate measurement of the icon is 5 ½” x 6 ¾”.
Condition:
The condition of the icon is very good vintage pre-owned condition.
*There is some crazing of the gold paint on the surface as seen in the many photos
*Artist painted a “stray” white mark on the top part of the face
