This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the return of the Original Broadway production of the MOSS HART, KURT WEILL and IRA GERSHWIN musical "LADY IN THE DARK" to the Alvin Theatre in New York City on September 2nd, 1941. (The production opened January 23rd, 1941 and ran for 162 performances before taking a summer hiatus and brief tour. The show returned to the Alvin Theatre September 2nd, 1941 for an additional 305 performances.) .....
