Here we have a unique, hand crafted electric 4 string cello bass jouhikko! This medieval bowed lyre measures about 36" long and is made with a pine body with a red oak soundboard, tuning pegs, bridge and tailpiece. It has an acoustic piezo electric pickup with a Joyo JE-303 preamp with a 3 band equalizer and built in digital tuner. It has cello fine tuners and is strung with cello strings. It comes with a primitive style bow made from maple and horsehair along with rosin. It has an amazing sound with or without amplification!
