Description
Domra prima.- Made in the USSR 1980s - Odessa.
Domra is a Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian folk stringed plucked musical instrument. One of the main leading instruments in folk orchestras.
Domra and balalaika are two different modifications of the same type of ancient plucked string instrument.
Since ancient times in Russia, the common people have talentedly displayed their emotional experiences, as well as the events taking place in folk art. Assistants in this were various folk musical instruments, the art of performing on which was passed down from generation to generation. One of these instruments was domra.
Domra is not new, so there are scuffs of the top layer. Over time, cracks appeared, which were repaired in the workshop (See photo).
