Description
Thесе Icons (Iconostas Иконостас) Represent the key Christian Orthodox imagery. These icon copies most likely the oldest imagery known. By rules, all Icons must be made using wood and paint. No other material should be used including nails. It is why we recreated the original wooden pegs which held two pieces of wood planks together in place on the reverse side of the 4 icons. Our replicas are printed on a hard stock paper and only require simple paper-glue to bring these to life. Paper is made of wood and images are inkjet printed using color ink. Each icon measures 7.5 inches high, 6 inches wide and half inch deep. We recommend cutting these out and score paper using metal ruler and blunt side of the scissors before attempting to make folds. We also recommend to cut pieces of corrugated cardboard to fit inside every icon for rigidity. You will receive uncut sheet of premium paper size 16x60. This is a Do It Yourself Paper-Craft Project.
