    Description

    The relatively small, lightweight, and very portable Breadboard Design Station provides several needed circuit design and prototyping functions -- a rather large 830 tie point solderless breadboard, 5 direct current (DC) power supply outputs, and a variable frequency audio function generator with square, triangle, and sine wave outputs.
    Features:
    • 830 tie point solderless breadboard with 4 power rails
    • 5 DC power supply outputs: +3.3 VDC, +5 VDC, +6 VDC, and +9 VDC each at 100 milliamps max, and +12 VDC at 1 amp from wall adapter
    • Variable frequency audio function generator with square, triangle, and sine wave outputs: 180  Hz to 7000 Hz
    • Coarse and fine waveform frequency adjustment controls
    • Station is relatively small and lightweight; very portable
    • All semiconductor ICs socketed for quick and easy replacement

    Specifications:
    The Breadboard Design Station includes:
    1) A design board with 3.8” x 2.5” printed circuit board (PCB) and 830 tie point solderless breadboard mounted on a sealed 3.8” x 9.75” piece of 0.25” thick plywood, and
    2) A 12 VDC at 1 amp UL listed wall adapter with 5.5mm x 2.1mm plug.
    The PCB on the design board gets its power from the 12 VDC wall adapter, and includes 5 DC power supply outputs and a variable frequency audio function generator.
    5 DC power supply outputs available at separate screw terminals:
    4 fixed and regulated DC output voltages:
    • +3.3 VDC, +5 VDC, +6 VDC, and +9 VDC
    • 100 milliamps (mA) max each output voltage
    • Separate socketed voltage regulators
    Input from 12 VDC wall adapter: +12 VDC at 1 A
    Variable frequency audio function generator:
    - Square, Triangle, and Sine wave outputs available at separate screw terminals (See Pictures)
    - Output frequency adjustable via coarse and fine potentiometers from 180 Hz to 7000 Hz
