The M-508/M-508T is a mini-mighty Linux-ready ARM9-based single board computer. Users can operate the M-508/M-508T the same way as they do on a normal Linux desktop. The M-508/M-508T comes equipped with one Ethernet, four RS-232/485 ports, two USB 2.0 host ports, plus one SD memory card slot and 32x GPIOs in an incredible small package measuring only 105x 75mm.
Operates in -20 to 80C Environment (M-508T only)
The standard version of the board - the M-508 - is specified for an operating temperature range from 0C to 70C. The board is also available in an
extended temperature version

- which operates from -20C to +80C. You can select the desired temperature range from a drop-down selection menu at the bottom of this page.
512K Non-Volatile SRAM (M-508T only)
The extended temperature version, M-508T, also provides 512KB non-volatile SRAM for fast and safe data retention, eliminating the need for an unreliable, external backup battery.
Four 921.6Kbps RS-232/485 TTY Ports
The M-508 provides four 921.6Kbps RS-232/485 TTY ports. Port 1, 2, 3 support standard RS-232/485. Port 4 supports RS-232/422/485. Port 2 also features full RS-232 supporting for modem connection.
Thirty-two CMOS-level GPIOs
The M-508 comes with 32x CMOS-level digital I/Os. Each I/O pin can be individually programmed as input or output.
