Description

A nice old coiled basket from the Paiute Indians in the Owens Valley area of California. Made of a single coiled willow rod wrapped with willow and devil's claw and a simple rim finish. It coils clockwise and has an almost Miwok style watchspring start. A very graphic design that is clean and bright. Fit for any collection from advanced to museum grade it is a nice early example from central California and it has a LOW NO RESERVE PRICE !
