    Description

    Painted on wood panel, the icon shows signs of age and wear (i.e. craquelure, scratches, chips / dings, wormholes, and darkening likely from candle soot); it would benefit from professional cleaning and restoration. See photos for condition details.
    The panel measures approximately 11.5” by 8.5”, with a thickness of about 1”. It probably dates to sometime in the 19th Century, but possibly a bit earlier or later.
