Description
This is a basic 28 pin ZIF socket to AVR programming device interface. It features both 6 and 10 pin interfaces which should suit any programmer device such as the USBTiny by Adafruit or any of the official AVR device programmers by Atmel/Microchip. The unit has a jumper to allow the device to be powered separately from the programmer in cases of specific functionality testing. The header pins are wired 1 to 1 to the ZIF socket, allowing 2 header pins per to allow for I/O and programming at the same time. We use this in our shop for programming AVRs for our products and it really makes it simpler, no more breadboarding to setup for different AVRs. Works really well with socket adapters for packages such SOIC. Will work to program AVRs that use external oscillators, just need to jumper them on the breadboard. This unit is mounted to a custom designed and laser cut piece of black 3mm acrylic and includes a half size breadboard, 10 female-female 110mm jumpers, 10 male-female 110mm jumpers and non-skid feet. Overall measurements are 119mm x 110mm.Please note that this is black acrylic which while it is shatter resistant, it can break if dropped. Black acrylic also will show any speck of dust, we will try to have as much removed prior to shipment.
