19th Century Russian Icon ANTIQUE St. Ivan

Description

RUSSIAN ICON ANTIQUE, ST IVAN.   You are bidding on an ANTIQUE RUSSIAN ICON, of St. IVAN (verified approximate age as before 1900 by a person knowledgeable of these particular artifacts).  I purchased it from a Russian friend and it belonged to her mother.
It measures:  4-5/8"w x 6"L, about 3 ozs in weight.  It is a print, attached at the top of a red paper covered type of board; the bottom can carefully be lifted up.  The backing is also covered in a very aged whitish paper, attached to the back. There is staining at the bottom
front of the print--a light brownish stain, but it's not on the red backing.  The
overall coloring in the photo is slightly less bright
than the
original...going from camera editing to listing or computer, never seems to match original.
