1975 Toyota Land Cruiser

Description

Up for sale is our beloved 1975 FJ40 Land Cruiser.
It has an original Toyota Inline 6 engine professionally replaced in 2004 by previous owner.
There is a 4 speed manual transmission on the floor.
It has a removeable Hard Top and comes with a Bikini Soft Top.
Four wheel Willwood disc brakes were added in 2013. Very strong engine, clutch, transmission and four wheel drive system!
Unknown mileage since the previous owner did not have a working odometer. Ifixed the odometer when I got it and have only put on 5,835 miles in tenyears.
This truck has only been used forlocal driving and plowing the road and sites of a small two acre RV Park.
It has not been off-road or abused on thetrail.
It will do 60 MPH on the highwaybut the traditional loose steering requires you to be attentive while youdrive.
Painted inside and out with Toyota’s"Sun Fusion" (5A3 color).
Thisis one of the FJ Cruiser colors from 2006 to 2010.
The small parts are painted Toyota GrayMetallic.
Seven foot Meyers E47 hydraulic SnowPlow with Slick Stick controls located on the stick shift for easyplowing while driving. It is really amazing how well this vehicle plowssnow!
With the short wheelbase, greatvisibility and torquey engine, it is easy to maneuver around and between obstacles.
Two new hydraulic ram arms installed in 2016for moving the plow left and right.
Newplow pump in 2017 which powers all of the up and down, left and righthydraulics.
Plow blade is steel and wasrepainted in the fall of 2019.
Maybe the best news; the snow plow isremoveable and returns the look of the truck to 99% original. Just two 2 inchsquare holes in the front bumper, two square 2 inch mounts behind the bumper,two vertical plates on the frame below each passenger for the long snow plowbraces to mount. This is a very sturdy design for plowing and allprofessionally done!
There is NO damageto this vehicle from plowing.
It has allbeen built correctly and is well thought out.
Pioneer
DEH-X6800BT
AM/FM/CD/USB with two pioneer speakershas been installed. There are two concealed speaker wires already installedgoing from the CD player to the underneath side of the roll bar.
Exterior is 80% good with a fewscratches, rust spots and imperfections around the vehicle.
Rocker panels have rust & above rearbumper/below ambulance doors (see photos). I would say this is a "20 footpaint job” and body work. It looks very good and I get lots of compliments eachmonth.
Interior is 85% with a couple ofrust spots starting to come through on the interior wheel well behind the frontseats.
The driver's seat is old and wornand is the worst thing about the interior.
There are no rear seats! It does come with a spare tire carrier also painted Sun Fusionbut it is not mounted on the truck. There is a second set of Wheels withStudded Snow Tires and deep tread that come with the truck. Just switch themout when it is legal to do so.
Summerwheels and tires are Kumho Venture MT 31X11.50R15LT and the Winter tires haveexcellent tread and are Wildcat EXT 31X10.50R15LT.
