The One Which Started the Land-Cruiser’s Legacy Worldwide…
If you are not aware, the FJ25 played an important role in Toyota’s history and success in the overseas markets. In addition to being extremely rare, this FJ25 is the final year, in most markets, with its limited production (1956-1960). Toyota’s FJ25 was the standard model for the second-generation Land Cruiser which were used to launch and break into additional markets overseas. The F-engine, (which boasted 135 hp in 1960), dependability, and simplicity has become legendary. Highly recommended for serious enthusiasts and collectors of Toyota Land-Cruisers.
This frame-off restored FJ25 Land Cruiser is left-hand drive which was recently imported to the US from Colombia. Its restoration was completed in the fall of 2019 and has approximately (500) dependable miles since completion. Restoration includes new paint, interior, new tires, drivetrain, rubber/ polymer gaskets, glass, and numerous mechanical/ suspension components. Overall…a fantastic build.
Please look closely at the photos and videos provided. The FJ25’s new appearance, simplicity, and construction are superb. All hinged components, exterior, and interior gaps/ panels/ fitment look like new including the undercarriage!
