1950 Ford Rear Deck/Trunk Key Cylinder, NOS OEM, Hurd 41-869 & 41-941

Description

Vintage rear deck/trunk key cylinder for 1950 Ford automobiles EXCEPT station wagons. NOS OEM. Hurd part #41-869 & 41-941.
This lock cylinder has the exact same measurements as the rear deck/trunk key cylinders used for the following vehicles:
**1941, 1942, 1946, 1947, 1948, 1949 Ford (except station wagons)
**1941, 1942, 1946 & early 1947 Mercury
**1941, 1942 Lincoln Zephyr (except Continental)
What makes this lock different than those used in the vehicles listed above is that the drive pin on the rear cam is 90 degrees from the 12 o'clock position. (see photos). The Hurd catalog indicates that this allows the key to be removed in both the locked and unlocked position.
If you own one of the other vehicles listed above, this cylinder may also work for you. You would need to verify that the internal mechanism of your rear deck handle would accommodate the drive pin that is 90 degree from the 12 o'clock instead of 12 o'clock. We also have other listings that would have cylinders with a 12 o'clock drive pin in case this cylinder won't work for you.
Includes 2 original solid brass Ford logo keys, key code tag, and original Hurd box.
