THIS IS A REALLY NICE
EXAMPLE OF A RARE & SCARCE "COPPER" COLONIAL COIN FROM 1788, THIS MASSACHUSETTS COLONIAL CENT IS IN VG CONDITION AND IS 233 YEARS OLD. NICE BROWN COLOR AND GOOD DETAILS FOR IT'S AGE. THE REVERSE HAS A FEW GOUGES BUT IS STILL REALLY NICE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND.

THIS Die struck copper coin; obverse depicts a Native American figure holding a bow and arrow with a star above (as on the state seal of Massachusetts) and the legend "COMMON / WEALTH" reverse depicts an eagle with wings spread out, the body of the eagle is the Unites States shield with the inscription "CENT" the device is surrounded buy the legend "MASSACHUSETS".
