    decal set
    is part of our new modular method of offering the Shuttle Thermal Protection decals you need to build your own higher-authenticity Shuttle Orbiter models.
    The system is intended to allow you to choose the decals you need with as little duplication as possible. They
    were originally sized to fit the 1/72 scale Revell Space Shuttle Orbiter model, but is also applicable to the Monogram 1/72 scale Space Shuttle Orbiter,
    either as the Orbiter alone or as part of the Space Shuttle "stack" (Space Shuttle with Booster Rockets) model kit
    .
    The Lake County Space Port “Early Era” Orbiter White Tile Decal Set includes all of the “white” Thermal Protection System (TPS) areas, and other special detail areas, which are common to both early-era Space Shuttle Orbiters - OV-102 “Columbia” and OV-099 “Challenger.” Only a portion of these decals are needed to model OV-101 - "Enterprise."
    The set includes three full sheets and one partial sheet, which contain the following areas:
    Crew Compartment Top & Side Surfaces (cockpit area & Orbiter sides)
    Forward Fuselage Surfaces (forward for Cockpit to nose Black tiles)
    Mid-Body sides (below Payload Bay Doors)
    Payload Bay Door Lower surfaces
    Port & Starboard Wing Upper Surfaces
    Vertical Stabilizer Sides
    OMS Pod front surfaces
    Main Engine Gimbal Seals

    be paired with the Shuttle Orbiter Standard Black Tile Decal Set in order to complete the overall TPS system for the specific early Orbiter you are modelling.
